2 months ago if Ayush was asked to name one thing he couldn’t live without, he would have said his friends and coffee. If he was asked what his hobbies were, he would have said traveling. 2 months ago his Bumble profile read — looking for a gym buddy.
But it is not 2 months ago now. And everything that Ayush thought he couldn’t live without and everything that he thought he wanted in life have changed.
His story is your story. A couple of months ago if you were asked to define the fundamentals governing your existence, they would have been derived from your aspiring motivations and routine activities. Today though, those basics have been questioned, your life, just like the life of billions on our planet has been disrupted. Routines have been upset. Relationships redefined. Priorities reset.
What mattered at one point in time seems less relevant now. People have lost loved ones. Death is never easy to deal with. People have lost jobs. Financial insecurity is crippling. Whether by choice or by circumstance billions have gravitated towards their centers of survival which hold the promise and the guarantee of roti, kapda, makaan.
